Finding your place in the world!

Finding your place in the world!
As an educator with over 33 years of experience, I believe teaching is one of life’s greatest honors—and my deepest passion, second only to being a mom and grandma. My extensive educational background spans state universities, private institutions, online platforms, in-person programs, and even Ivy League schools. I hold a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and am currently completing my doctorate in the same field.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught across all grade levels—from Pre-K through college—in both public and private schools, including international settings. I’ve served as a private tutor, classroom teacher, mentor, curriculum author, vice principal, and homeschool consultant. These diverse roles have given me the privilege of working with a wide range of learners, each with their own exceptionalities.
I’m passionate about helping students find their voice, build confidence, and unlock their potential. As a college advisor, I provide personalized guidance in choosing the right-fit college, crafting standout essays and applications, and preparing for interviews.
To further this mission, I founded Global Prospective School (GPS) to nurture the whole child, with a focus on Grit, Purpose, and Strength. GPS offers tailored support for all learners—whether they need a challenge, a boost in confidence, encouragement, or recognition as the amazing individuals they are. These three pillars empower students to persevere through obstacles, pursue meaningful goals, and cultivate the inner strength needed to thrive as confident, capable learners.
